Its purpose is to tell you about why I, Roland Roth, am riding in this May’s first ever

AIDS LifeCycle.

AIDS/LifeCycle is the official cycling event of the

San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

For the first time ever, the SFAF will be producing a ride themselves, so no outside organization will take any fee for producing this event. By organizing and running their own event, the SFAF hopes to have a higher rate of return from this ride, as opposed to the AIDS Rides that they used to be a beneficiary of.

AIDS/LifeCycle will rally cyclists, volunteers, and donors to raise needed funds to support critical HIV/AIDS services.

Spanning nearly 600 miles through the heart of California, from S.F. to L.A., AIDS/LifeCycle is expected to draw thousands of participants.
